Our society

Curious minds. Global ambitions.

A student community exploring the world through discussion, collaboration and diplomacy.

What is Model United Nations?

The world, from another perspective.

Our society is inspired by the United Nations, founded in 1945 to maintain international peace and security and increase international cooperation. Model United Nations brings that spirit of cooperation into a student-led simulation.

Members represent countries, investigate current and historical conflicts, and negotiate solutions to real global issues. Along the way, you develop research, public speaking, negotiation, teamwork and diplomacy skills.

You don’t need to study politics or international relations. Every University of Worcester student is welcome, whatever your background or level of experience.

Taking Worcester to the world.

Our ambition is to become recognised by MUN-UK and compete against other universities. We’re building a society that opens doors to external conferences, meaningful connections and opportunities to represent the University of Worcester.
